Vanam Origins began with a simple conviction: the everyday objects we live with — the spoon we cook with, the cup we drink from, a baby's first toy — shouldn't be throwaway plastic. They can be natural, beautiful, and made to last.

We work with naturally durable Indian woods — neem and sheesham for the kitchen, and traditional vijaysar for our drinkware — chosen for their character, strength, and heritage. Every piece is shaped, sanded, and finished by hand by skilled artisans, then treated with food-grade oil only: no lacquer, no synthetic polish, no chemical treatment. Because each is handmade, no two are identical — slight variation in grain and tone is the signature of real wood, not a defect.
